About Us
Handmade in the heart of Sand Mountain. We take pride in creating quality products.
From building the recipe for each batch to constructing the design for each bar, we make handmade soaps that are sure to please.

We started with a seed of curiosity.
How is soap made?  What makes a good soap? Can I make soap to suit my needs?
While seeking the answers to these questions, we quickly realized that making soap is a rabbit hole, and we've been falling for a while now.

We now make a large variety of soaps to suit the likes of many including...
  • milk soaps: goat, bovine, buttermilk, coconut milk
  • vegan-friendly soaps: palm-free and made without the use of animal products
  • 100% oil soaps: castile, old-fashioned lard, coconut oil
  • salt soaps: fine or coarse grit to help get ya clean

How we make your soap:
First we figure out the goal we want to achieve with the soap. Obviously soap is used to  clean. However, different recipes create different qualities in the finished product. Some people prefer big, fluffy bubbles while others prefer creamier lather. Different combinations and ratios of oils and additives provide different cleansing experiences. We have several standard recipes we love to use, but we're always trying new things.

Our go-to method for soap making is the cold process method, but we also make soap via hot process. For both, we measure out all of the ingredients and carefully combine them to create amazing soaps many have come to know and love.

We cure our soaps for 4 to 6 weeks and sometimes longer depending on the type of soap it is; a good soap cannot be rushed. During this time the excess liquid evaporates, and the soap becomes hard and longer lasting.
